Hiii! Welcome. I am so excited you are here. My name is Brooke and I am the founder of The Uncommon Hostess. I truly believe that parties are story driven. Whether you're hosting a dinner party or putting on a large event, they all come from a place of creativity and connection.
It’s all about connection
I have 10+ years of event experience from working on the Las Vegas Strip planning weddings all the way to being the Director of Events for a hospitality company.
But it wasn’t until I experienced the life changing moment of being at the Route 91 shooting that I understood just how fleeting all of these moments of connection and celebration were.
It may seem like a frivolous link, but to me, that experience made me realize just how short life is and how it can change in a split second. Putting off spending time with loved ones and those “We can celebrate next years,” aren’t what life is about. Simple as that.
I started The Uncommon Hostess in 2021 as a creative outlet and to offer full service event planning to the Las Vegas area. I love being a part of these moments that are so special for my clients, whether it’s a baby shower, birthday or a dinner party.
So often we wait for these once in a lifetime moments to celebrate rather than romanticizing the everyday. You don’t have to wait for a big moment to celebrate. Let’s bring back hosting just to see your friends, to commemorate a new promotion, to catch up and connect, to heal and grow, or just because.
